Hard to mount, but easy to setup tubeless. One layer of Stan’s tape on a Pacenti PL-23 18C rim. I needed soapy water and a Kool Stop bead jack to mount them, but once mounted, they could be seated with a floor pump, and held air for 3 days without sealant. The measure 24.5mm wide.
My first ride, V laps around the cul-de-sac, was at 75f/95r for a 235lb rider on a 90’s vintage hand-built vintage steel Bianchi. 😉
2×20 Bodyweight squats.
I was at The Bike Way earlier today, discussing pedals and tires with Trevin, the owner. As we were talking about tire casing width, pressures, and rider weight, it really hit home how much my weight (108 kg) is an issue in cycling. Dropping 8 kg would really help. Dropping 18 kg would be ideal.
The one in Giaole, Chianti, Siena, Italy.
I need to find a frame…
I got drunkish, so I only did 1×5 Goblet Squats with a 35lb kettlebell. Shame on me.
1×20 Bodyweight squats. Tomorrow, we’ll add another set.
I’ve become soft and lazy. This realization has finally tipped my apathy and love for beer into a feeble desire to exercise greater control over my fate.
I will squat every day.
Day 1: 1 set of 20 bodyweight squats.
Wow, these are a trip. Super sure and easy, at least on the trainer. Speedplay says you need to lower your saddle, my first try at it is 1cm lower, I suppose it may go lower still.
I mounted these up on some Speedplay 4-bolt Lake CX300 Carbon road shoes I picked up on clearance from The Pro’s Closet. Yeah, my curiosity currently has about a $300 price tag.
One final observation: the little cleat plugs Speedplay provides with the walkable cleats are a total joke.
Awesome fat meats for a 29’er.
